NYC Yoga Project invites you to attend FREE Virtual Yoga Classes.
These open-level classes are rooted in the Baptiste Methodology as we are a Baptiste Affiliate studio. The yoga classes are the signature yoga plan designed past Businesswoman Baptiste known as Journey into Power (JIP). Give up uncertainty and create possibility to impact your exercise and your life.
All yoga classes are 60-minutes long.
All breathe & meditate classes are 30-minutes long.
All research classes are 60-minutes long.
These classes require you lot to register at least ane-hr earlier class begins.
These classes use the ZOOM app, which must be downloaded prior to class.
After registration for class, you will receive email guidance to login to ZOOM 30-minutes prior to course.

How To Register For Classes

- Select the class(es) you would like to join.
- After registering for your class on MINDBODY, you will receive a ZOOM link to the class 30 minutes prior to the scheduled form. Please be sure they aren't beingness filtered to your spam folder!
- To login to the class, open up the electronic mail and click on the ZOOM meeting link on the designated appointment/fourth dimension of your registered class.

| Dawn is a 500 hour Certified Baptiste Yoga Leader and a Fit to Pb graduate with the Baptiste Institute. Dawn is besides a Life Bus, Community Change Maker, and Leadership Consultant. Dawn started practicing yoga after experiencing panic attacks postal service nine/11. In 2011, after ten years of studying with various teachers in NYC, she discovered Baptiste Ability Vinyasa Yoga and became a instructor. Dawn has 23+ years of corporate leadership experience. She is the founder of NYC Yoga Project, a 501(c)(3) that uses the tools and teachings of yoga to transform the lives of underserved New Yorkers. | Zach is the owner of Furthur Ability Yoga in Sea Girt, NJ, the only Baptiste Affiliate at the Jersey Shore. Having grown up at the shore, he is and so excited to exist able to bring the transformational practices of Baptiste Yoga to this customs. His classes are physically challenging yet lighthearted, and attainable to all students to meet them where they are in their journeying. He loves seeing his students attain their fullest potential and expression on and off the mat. | Leslie is Certified Baptiste Yoga Leader and a 200 60 minutes RYT. Leslie leads a Meditation Program, 40 Days to a Personal Revolution Program and is an Apprenticeship Program Facilitator at Firefly Yoga studio. Leslie has created two youth programs where she leads children'due south' yoga groups. Leslie is a retired New York Metropolis get-go responder and has been practicing yoga for over seventeen years. Leslie lost the ability to walk in 2003, had emergency surgery and an experienced an extremely long recovery period. Leslie credits Baptiste Yoga for saving her mental, concrete, spiritual and emotional health. Through the ability of asana (physical), meditation and cocky inquiry, Leslie has been able to touch on her ain life and wants to share the practice with others. | Ashley is a NASM certified personal trainer. She developed an interest in training through her experience as a collegiate basketball player. Her coaching revolves around the idea that nosotros must love ourselves beginning before nosotros tin can change. She believes force training not only develops the body, but profoundly challenges the mind. It prepares united states for whatsoever life may throw at u.s.a.. | Patrice obtained her 200 60 minutes Yoga Teacher Training Certificate through the NYC Yoga Projection Teacher Training Program. Patrice lives in Brooklyn, NY, and her family is from Trinidad. Patrice has works for years in the financial sector and has recently pursued training in ayurvedics as a means to heal herself and others. Classes this week: Thursday 9am | |
| Cassidy is a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and 300 hour Certified Baptiste Yoga Leader. Cassidy has been practicing yoga for over a decade. Cassidy completed her first 200 60 minutes Instructor Grooming at the age of 18 and her life was positively inverse forever. Cassidy completed Baptiste Constitute Levels I, Two and Three, equally well as Art of Assisting. As a child and growing up, Cassidy suffered with depression, anxiety, and anorexia. Yoga offered Cassidy a way out of this and for that she is forever grateful. Cassidy has seen what yoga can do for others, first and second paw, and wants to spread and share het love of yoga with others. | Gina is a Tier 3 1200 60 minutes Certified Baptiste Influencer, a graduate of the Fit to Atomic number 82 Program with the Baptiste Institute and the possessor of Heart and Grit Ability Yoga. Gina was empowered by the Baptiste Power Yoga methodology to lead from knowing that she is the source of everything. Through this awareness, Gina causes deep connections for herself and with others. Gina has assisted three Baptiste Institute programs and is an Administrator for the Baptiste Foundation, having led the Unstoppable Programme for youth leaders. Gina has a Masters Degree in Exercise Science and is a certified fettle instructor with the American Council on Exercise. Gina led eight Yoga Teacher Trainings, multiple workshops and weekend trainings and has been instructing fettle classes since 2001. Classes this week: Fri 9am | |
| Margie is a 500 60 minutes Certified Baptiste Teacher, from northern Indiana. She uses meditation during isolation to go deep into inquiry and achieve calm during doubtfulness of the current times. Margie believes we are in a particularly opportune time to focus on inner reflection and to reboot our lives and minds. Meditation tin facilitate this shift just, past using focus on the breathe and observing the fashion of our thoughts. | Sara Page's yoga journey started iv years ago when she took her first Baptiste preparation with Karen Terrone at v Boro Power Yoga, Staten Island. It was there that Sara Page cruel in honey with the Baptiste methodology and customs. She continued her Baptiste grooming at Levels 1,ii and 3 where she earned her 500 RYT. She is currently enrolled in Fit to Lead, the highest level of training that the Baptiste Institute offers. | In 2010, a twelvemonth afterward the commitment of her tertiary child, Natasha was hitting with a health crisis. The combination of living a loftier stress life, the loss of her father and not having any mindfulness or grounding in her life, as luck would have a Baptiste studio opened in her hometown. Natasha needed a drastic personal transformation - a revolution - and found information technology at her new yoga community. Natasha strongly believes in continued didactics as is most proud of her near contempo certification with Baptiste Teach Class in 2019 to open up her pathway as a Baptiste Yoga Instructor and continuing piece of work with Gina Ward at Baptiste affliliate in Crimson Hill, New Jersey Center & Grit every bit office of a mentorship program, Pb with Impact. She completed her certification with Grace & Glory Yoga Studio Teacher Leader Development Program & Mentorship plan and is an apprentice working towards her 500 hour training at Grace and Glory Yoga in Philadelphia. She is too an teacher for Roots 2 Rise, a non-profit that makes yoga accessible to everyon Amy is the Director of Mindfulness & Yoga for Mighty Writers, a non-profit in Philadelphia that offers free writing programs for all children and youth. She loves to workout, write poetry, read, meet and connect with new people, go on spontaneous adventures, attend concerts and spend time with her daughter, Audrey. Classes this week: Sunday 11am | |
| Denia has 10 years of community development experience as a motivational speaker, career counselor, and community advocate. She obtained her yoga certification to assistance communities of color, and anyone who has dealt with depression, trauma or anxiety, experience empowered. She obtained her 200 60 minutes RYT from Lyons's Den Power yoga and uses the Baptiste Methodology to encourage her students to explore their bodies through asanas and meditation. Denia creates beginner to intermediate classes for students in English and Spanish. Denia as well teaches at Commonpoint Queens community center and works with Commonpoint Queens Health and Wellness committee to pb monthly mediation sessions for the visitor'due south staff members.
